Love deeper. Talk more. Have better sex.
Queer AF Therapy works with relationships including friendships, monogamous partnerships, consensually non-monogamous partnerships, relationship anarchists, asexual partnerships, kink exploration, and more!
Y’all only will heal as much as the amount of energy you put into the relationship and the therapy session. Choosing to be together, in any relational way, includes hard teamwork, learning how to build trust with each other, and finding y’alls way back to your joy in the relationship. If you’re ready for the big step of asking for help, I welcome you!
I work with people who are in relationship with each other and are needing help with setting long-term goals, building healthy communication, learning to fight fairly, parenting, exploring gender and/or sexuality, increasing and exploring intimacy, and more.
I provide talk therapy, whether it is unstructured or structured and base my therapy style on a relational-cultural, intersectional feminist, and narrative lens. I also use an eclectic approach that may include Gottman research, sex therapy, and trauma work.
You and your partners(s) may be a good fit for therapy if y’all are experiencing/have experienced:
low desire/intimacy
gender or sexual identity exploration
exploring kink
supporting a partner(s) with past abuse, PTSD or C-PTSD
general LGBTQIA2S+ concerns
difficulty navigating life events together
frequent arguments/fighting
unhealthy communication styles
sex or gender discrimination
a lack of support/community
I do not work with partnerships where abuse is actively present.
