Heal your trauma. Navigate Adulting. Explore yourself.

Queer AF Therapy helps individual adults ages 18+ access their inner strength. Having a safer space to heal is as important for those fresh on the adult scene as it is to elders who may still be figuring life out.

I work through a relational-cultural, intersectional feminist, and narrative lens to provide a therapy space that is unique to you and your needs. My specialties include supporting you as you heal from trauma, explore your place in the queer and trans community, and/or deal with life challenges without making them all about your gender or sexuality. I work within the context of the societies, identities, and systems of oppression that impact your mental health and your other needs. I also understand that just because you’re queer or trans, that doesn’t mean that what you’re hoping to heal stems only from those parts of your identity.

I provide talk therapy, whether it is unstructured or structured. You may be a good fit for therapy if you are experiencing/have experienced:

  • low confidence and/or self-worth

  • anxiety/stress

  • mood dysregulation

  • gender identity exploration

  • sexual and sexual identity exploration

  • general LGBTQIA2S+ concerns

  • PTSD or C-PTSD

  • difficulty navigating life events

  • a lack of support/community

  • sex or gender discrimination

  • sexual assault and abuse

  • intimate partner violence

  • childhood abuse

I also provide the following therapies:

  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT)

  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Ask me if using a more structured modality would be a good fit for you.
